Like many people, I love traveling. There are so many places in the world to visit that a lifetime is probably not enough, but I am definitely keen on making the most of it. So, if you need inspiration for your next trip, here is my travel bucket list: I hope this will give you some ideas!
San Francisco and California
I don’t really know why, but San Francisco is THE city that makes me dream. Does this have anything to do with “Monk” that I used to watch when I was younger? Anyway, I would love to discover this city as quickly as possible. In California, my essentials will be Los Angeles and Yosemite National Park, among others!
Safari in South Africa
I love animals, but I love them even more in their natural environment. Obviously, I have already seen elephants, giraffes and lions in zoos when I was younger, but let’s say that it doesn’t match with my convictions anymore (that’s another debate). So, what could be better than a safari to observe these animals in the wild, with the added bonus of breathtaking landscapes?
Mexico – Yucatan Peninsula
I went to Mexico last year, and I loved this country: the landscapes and sites are beautiful, the locals wear their hearts on their sleeves, and (maybe the most important) the food is delicious. However, I “only” visited Mexico City, Guanajuato and Oaxaca regions. Next time, I’d like to discover the Yucatan Peninsula, including the famous Chichen Itza (which is one of the new Seven Wonders of the World).
I imagine these islands as heaven on earth! I would love to discover these magical landscapes, and especially to stay in a kind of “cabin” build on piles like these for a few days.
See the Northern lights
There are many countries where you can admire the northern lights: Iceland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Canada, for example. My ultimate dream would be to sleep in a kind of igloo and to be able to admire the sky from a warm bed.
I hope that you liked my travel bucket list and that it gave you some inspiration! What about you? Tell me in the comments where your dream destination is!
